The greataxes and greatclubs of 2H melee skills in Darkfall Online

First introduce the greataxes. They can deal damage per hit as high as Polearms do, they are with faster swings than polearms, a shorter reach and a smaller arc than polearms have. their great point which makes them powerful is the power attack. It works like this: in the case you succeed in landing it, which is not easy actually, it will debuff your opponent’s physical protections. Moreover, you will be granted with the ability to dish out more damage than any other 2 hander. All those effective consequences of landing it is based on you having a proper aim to deal with tehshort range and small arc. The Ork racial skill gives a slight damage bonus for these.
Second introduce greatclubs. They have lots of commons with greataxes, except that greatclubs’ base damage is lower, and metal armor is weaker to bldgeonine. At the same time, it has the problems as 1H club, which are the extra damage against metal that does not outweigh hthe lower damage overall.
